When one thinks of a classical music performance they most probably envision a concert in a grand symphony hall or venue like the BB&T center but not too many people envision it in a intimate space in the heart of Wynwood, Miami’s Art District. However, there is one place in Wynwood which is known as the M Building that hosts a unique and special series of events entitled, “Musimelange”, which showcases the talents of musicians and artists who express their love, passion, and appreciation for the arts and music through their amazing performances for the sole purpose of enriching people’s lives through classical music.
Musimelange creates an intimate space and atmosphere where Miami locals can come and relax and unwind after a busy day at the office and enjoy a beautiful concert like performance by some of the most talented individuals in the industry. In addition, it gives people the chance to indulge and sample some of the finest Hors d’oeuvres and Gourmet desserts by some of the best chefs in the city and pair them with some of the finest wines and spirits, making it a unique and complete experience in itself.
The program is divided into three parts: Act I, Act II, and Act III. During Act I guests can enjoy a selection of wines from Barton & Guestier and sample delicious Hors d’oeuvres right before the performance takes place. Act II consists of a live performance by the special guest(s) of the night that range from violinists to pianists to cellists. For Act III guests can satisfy their sweet tooth by savoring scrumptious gourmet desserts, making it the perfect way to end the night!
Overall, if you’re a Miami local and love classical music or the performing arts and are looking for something unique and relaxing to do during the week then I highly recommend for you to check out Musimelange! It runs every year from January – April and this year their first event entitled, “Wanderlust” will be held on January 22 at 7:30pm and tickets can be purchased online at http://musimelange.com.
